  1. Hi Justice!! Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey programme. We are thrilled to have you join us this year!

You have certainly chosen three really interesting facts to share with us. I did not know that the highest point in England is called 'Scafell Pike.' I wonder where it is located in the country. Do you know? Is it in northern England or is it close to London in the south of the country?

I will definitely go and see what I can learn about it and let you know what I find!

In the meantime, I hope that you are having a wonderful Christmas holiday. Do you and your family have special plans for New Years Eve? I have one son (Aronui) and he and I are going to go out for a special dinner and then we might come home and watch a DVD. He recently started reading the Harry Potter books so I was thinking about watching the first Harry Potter video with him. Have you seen it? Is it a good video?

I'm really looking forward to reading your next blog and to writing back to you!

Keep up the great work, Justice :)

    Cheers, Rachel

  2. P.S. I had the chance to do some research and I found out that Scafell Pike is a mountain in the northern part of England. It is in a beautiful region of the country called the 'Lake District.' I had the chance to live in England for a few years but I never made it north to the Lake District. I'm really disappointed! I'll have to save my money and go back to England one day so that I can see 'Scafell Pike.'

Thanks again for teaching me something new!
