NZ facks

NZ people are a variety of different cultures!Today, of the 4.4 million Kiwis, approximately 69% are of European descent, 14.6% are Native Māori, 9.2% Asian and 6.9% non-Māori Pacific Islanders! Over one third of the population lives in Auckland and over 3/4 of the population lives in the north island!

  1. Hi Justice and welcome back to the holiday blogging programme. We are SO excited that you have joined us again this year!

It is great to see that you've taken the time to look at the Tourism NZ website and to share three interesting facts with us. I really like that you have written the facts in your own words and included good punctuation. I think that these facts are pretty amazing and deserving of an exclamation mark at the end of the sentence!

Of the three facts that you posted, which one surprised you the most? I was most surprised to learn that over three quarters of the population of New Zealand lives in the North Island. That is pretty incredible. I wonder what it is like to live down south. I expect that it must be pretty quiet...

Keep up the great work with your blogging, Justice! We're really looking forward to reading your next post.

    Cheers,
    Rachel
