Bobby eggs of steel walked out of his steel house quietly into a forest made of steel he was not supposed to go into. As he walked into the forest (of steel) he strangely disappeared. He woke up smelling like steel and walked on. The ground was steel and very cold and super hard and it was very tidy. Magicly he started to turn into titanium and hit he head on a magnetic (hanging from steel). He tried very hard to get his head off the magnetic but felt like he hardly done anything. Mr eggs of steel was finally able to get his head off and tried running home, but was getting sucked back by the magnetic. He got free of they magnets pull and kept running but sadly he fell into a hole. He woke up looking at his surroundings and noticed he was out and not made of metal anymore and could see his house. He ran and ran, he was almost there. He ran into his room as he was really sweaty and feel back too sleep.

HOW TO SAVE MONEY

Lots of people have trouble with money consequently, They don't have much. ,.fberth
So in this piece of writing I will tell you some ways to save money.

First you should have some kind of saving process.
For example some kids have piggy banks so if  you are an adult then you could put it in a normal bank
eventually you will have lots in the bank,
actually you could even have a piggy bank. So you will have less money to spend on stuff you need but
will give you more the more you put in.

(Now you )Next you should stick to a strict budget this will give you more money to spend on special
things like kids birthdays and stuff like that. Like $100 - $200  on food this will save you money.

Lastly don’t use lots of power if you do, this will make you bill lots of money hence wasting it.
So only go on the computer for important stuff and watch TV for 4-5h or less daily as long as  we're on the topic you should probably try to use less water too, also save money on bills. In the end you will have
money.

Well that's all if you follow all of these you will have money so have some sort of savings process,
don’t buy lots of food n’ use lots of power and water. Thanks for reading, have a good day.

Summer Learning Journey Week 3 day 1 #1

It was common for women in the 1950s to stay home with their children and raise their family. They were called ‘housewives.’ Many housewives followed a simple rule when they prepared the evening meal: the ‘meat and three veg’ rule. This meant that they prepared dinners that included three different vegetables and a type of meat (eg. beef, lamb, or chicken).

On your blog tell us if you think that the ‘meat and three veg’ rule is a good one. Do you like the rule? Would you enjoy eating a typical 1950s dinner? Why or why not?

Yes, Yes and yes. I like all  land meat and all vegetables so I would like that. also its dinner so its yum and food.

Summer Learning Journey week 2 day 5 # 2

In the years following World War II, things slowly returned to normal in New Zealand. Soldiers returned home and settled back into regular life; and national sporting teams, like the New Zealand cricket team, got back together and started playing matches again. In the late 1940s, men and women would go to watch these events, men wearing hats and suits and women wearing dresses, hats, and gloves.
Compare the pictures of common clothing from the late 1940s to what you wear now (i.e. in 2017). Are they similar or are they quite different? On your blog tell us which of the two styles you prefer and why. The pictures above were taken over 65 years ago! What do you think people will be wearing 65 years from now?

I like there clothing more because it looks beater in my apinyin.

in 65 years I thingk that people will be wearing kinda the same thing but with less fabrik because its probaly going to be hotter than it is now.

VE day

Activity 1: VE Day!
After six long years of fighting, World War II finally came to an end in 1945. The entire country was ecstatic and parties were thrown all over New Zealand to celebrate VE Day (Victory in Europe). Imagine that you were living in New Zealand in 1945 and you had to plan a VE day party at your house. Who would you invite? What would you do to celebrate?

On your blog, tell us all about your (imaginary) VE party.

I would invite all the people I know and have a rely big party and they can do whatever. well eat hot dogs, pies, sandwiches and other food.

Another World War

Event One
Operation Market Garden
Dates: 17-27 September 1944
Key People: United Kingdom Field Marshall Montgomery, United States First Allied Airborne Army, United Kingdom British XXX Corps.

Operation Market Garden was part of a strategy to capture German industrial areas. The First Allied Airborne Army was to seize bridges and the British XXX Corps. were to re-enforce them via land. Operation Market Garden freed almost all of Holland but did not reach all of  there goals because the British Airborne units at Arnhem did not get the reinforcements because they were delayed by German troops.  The British paras were supposed to hold the bridge for 12 hours but because of the delay they ended up holding it for 5 days but this was not enough.

Event two
D-Day
Date: 6th June 1944
Key People:United Kingdom Winston Churchill, United States Dwight D. Eisenhower, United Kingdom Bernard Montgomery,
United StatesOmar Bradley, United Kingdom Miles Dempsey, United Kingdom Trafford Leigh-Mallory, United Kingdom Bertram Ramsay,
United Kingdom Arthur Tedder, Nazi Germany Erwin Rommel, Nazi Germany Adolf Hitler.

British, American and other allied forces stormed the heavily defended French coastline,  beginning the invasion of main land Europe. It was bloody battle and lots of people died. Although different groups of troops experienced different levels of resistance, the invasion was a success.

Imagine that you were alive in the 1930s. What could you have done to help these families? On your blog, list three different ways that you could raise funds for families to help them buy food and clothing. Be as creative as you can with your fundraising ideas!

to help the people that have no job as a kid I can draw a cool picture and say that is was my brothers and sell it, or go to peoples homes and just ask them for some money, and finally I can get a job I guess. why not?

(P.S I don't want to do activity #1 because I don't feel comfortable with sharing that info to every one OK.) :)?

In the 1920s a new artistic movement emerged in New Zealand (and around the world). It was called ‘Art Deco.’ The picture to the right is a classic example of an ‘Art Deco’ piece. Take a close look at the painting. Do you like it?

On your blog, give the painting a rating out of 5 stars (1 star = terrible painting, 2 stars = pretty bad painting, 3 stars = okay painting, 4 stars = good painting and 5 stars = amazing painting). After you’ve rated the painting out of 5, tell us why you gave it that rating.

3 stars. it is a good painting but it's not my kind of painting. it probably has a meaning but I don't now what it is or it's not getting to me.

At the turn of the century, New Zealand elected its first ever government. Richard John Seddon served as the leader of the Liberal Party from 1893-1906. Prior to 1893, only men were legally allowed to vote. This all changed in the late 1800s when a woman named Kate Sheppard lead a suffragist movement in New Zealand calling for a change in law. Her hard work finally paid off when the Electoral Act was passed into law on 19 September 1893, giving women the right to vote. New Zealand was the first country to give all women the right to vote. There were still countries in the world (e.g. Saudi Arabia) who, until recently, did not allow women to vote.

On your blog tell us what you think about the fact that women were not allowed to vote in Saudi Arabia until 2015. Is it fair? Why or why not?

me
No. I think that its not fear for women not to vote till 2015 because thay have to folow the law and thay should have a say.
